If you want to make the necessary cables yourself, youŽll
need a little bit of attention and patience. All cables are pretty simple to make
yourself, but you can buy them too.On the following pages I hope to make clear how I
assembled the different units (GPS and 5MX) to a good single working system.

All the necessary parts to make the navigation system work, consists of 4
different parts:
- Connection cable from Garmin to power supply
- The external power supply (battery)
- The stabilized power supply for the GPS 12XL and the Psion 5/5MX
- The modified Psion "PsiWin" cable.
